Riding The Lines

Riding The Lines is a series of pencil drawings of people in the Toulouse metro in 2021 when masks were still mandatory.

This work is part of one of my thematic explorations of the line.

I positioned myself as a seismograph of an external vibration, simply transmitting it. The poetry of the line that results from these attempts, try to express the inexpressible, to inspect and feel the invisible in order to make it visible.

Riding The Lines est une série de dessins, fait au stylo, de gens réalisés dans le métro toulousain en 2021 lorsque le masque était toujours obligatoire.

Ce travail fait partie d’une de mes thématiques sur la ligne.

Je me suis posé en tant que séismographe d’une vibration extérieur, me contentant de transmettre. Cette poésie de la ligne qui en résulte tente d’exprimer l’inexprimable, d’inspecter et de palper l’invisible : de donner à voir.
